Default adding To Read books in my preferred format | Requests/Ideas

Under Tracking/Default format, users have the option to select a default format. It would be really cool if this factored into adding a book to the To Read or Currently Reading so that, instead of the top option when selecting a book (regardless of format), it adds the top option matching my Default Format.

As in, if my Default Format is Audio, instead of the format defaulting to Print or Digital (depending on the book), it would select the top Audio format edition (even if that's farther down the list) and add that to my To Read or Currently Reading list

The feature was originally for populating stats after we just introduced editions/format, but most of the books in the app didn't have a format, but the plan for years now has been to have it influence search results.

I didn't realize I needed this, but omg. Pleaaaaseee.

Ideas:

Popup on adding non-preferred: Are you sure? (yes) (no, switch to preferred)
Automatic switching to preferred, but OPT IN only. Manual override done by how you always do: book page - editions - switch to this edition.
Account level settings for these: Default setting is how it currently is, then the popup option, then auto switch.
