Can you add a quick link to 'recently read books' on the main page or in the quick access bar? I feel like I have to click a bunch to get to that page and I go there a lot.

At the moment, to see the Reading Challenges I have joined, I have to scroll down on the mobile app, clicking to view more & it shows only 4 at a time, then, if I click onto one of my joined Reading Challenges, once I return to the main Reading Challenge page, it refreshes & forces me to go back to the top.
Is there a possibility of implementing something that allows users to sort the Reading Challenges they have joined by the end date, alphabetically, by type of Reading Challenge, or even to be able to pin certain ones to make it easier & less frustrating to navigate & access individual Reading Challenges without it refreshing every time?
I'd love to be able view stats for the books i own physical editions of seperately from those I own audio or digital editions of. A secondary drop down or set of radio buttons for format would be amazing. Just generally adding more filters to the stats pages, like the ability to exclude certain tags etc. would be great too!
I often make a challenge in order to visually see how far through my physical TBR, or planned reads I am, but I find it quite time consuming to create challenges and add each book to them. I'd love to be able to filter my TBR and add all results (or first 50 or something if you need to cap the number of challenge prompts) to a challenge. for example, filtering TBR by owned hardbacks, maybe with a particular genre or tag, and add them to a specific-book challenge.
It would be nice to be able to chose specific pages of a book instead of just going chronologically for if it's a short story or essay collection, as lots of people don't always read them in order or in one go.
I would love to have a bit more control over what I share on my community feed. Mostly thinking of being able to opt out of sharing "Up Next"s, as well as "separate" ratings (i.e., books I have rated days/months after I have marked it as completed).
Hey!
Sorry if this has been asked before, I searched a few terms and couldn't find this specific issue.
On the app (android), I am often accidentally liking my own reading status updates when trying to find out who liked them because the number is so small beside the heart icon.
And example is attached in the screenshot. Here I've liked my own status by accident when trying to tap the number beside the heart. I know I can unlike it again but I just keep repeating this mis-tapping, maybe even a little distance between them would help.
Or add it as a new option, thank you!
My husband and i each have the app! I would like if he could see or is we could share the owned books section. thanks!
Currently you can use the exclude tags function to filter out specific tags, but sometimes I forget to tag a book when I finish reading it, and it'd be nice to be able to filter my read books to show only books that have no tags on them so I can work through them to add tags. But my tag list is too long to add them all to the excluded list manually... Maybe an 'all tags' option in the drop down for exclusion?
Either a calculator tool using pages left to read in a book and a date, or be able to designate a book for a book club and see at a glance how many pages you need to read by the meeting to be caught up. I do this by hand and frequently recalculate, I wonder if it's a tool that others would find useful? I do in person book clubs so I'd want that to be an option for such a tool.
I'd love a way to select each of the tags I want to include in a chart by selecting them all from the drop down list in one go (like you can when adding them to a book), instead of having to add a new segment then select the tag for each one, sometimes I end up selecting the same tag multiple times. Even just having the options already added to the chart greyed out so you know you've already added them would be helpful!!
This add review link leads to a new page but it makes leaving reviews and ratings more difficult/inefficient. Would be nice if it kept you on this page like marking read or owned is.
On the book page: When I try to edit the tags on a book, I often “miss-tap” an select a certain tag instead, bringing me to the list of all books with that tag instead. Could you make the edit tags symbol bigger and place it in a more easily accessible location with the next UI Update of the book page?
Say I want to read some spooky reads for October.
I'd like to create a Challenge that has a bunch of books on it, but you complete the challenge by
In other words, it's a combo of how people set Book Goals for the year, but for a Challenge.
Currently you can create a Challenge which meets the first criteria (read 5 books) but you can't create one for read 1000 pages of that set of books.
Eg,
I create my 2026 Spooky Reads challenge.
I add 10 ghost stories and horror books to it that I'm interested in.
I set the Challenge Page Goal to 1000.
Once I read 1000 pages in that Challenge (whether 3 books, or 5 books, or ...), then I've completed the Challenge.
I love the personalised who’s it for section. It’s always so interesting. However, I’ve noticed in recent months that it no longer uses specific titles as examples; they weren’t always the most accurate but I miss it and would love to see them brought back!
When adding a book it says add the 'main' author, and then you can add 'contributors'.
It is not clear to me whether for translated works, is the translator a main author or a contributor.
I think a clarifying point in the author text would help, which currently begins:
"Author(s)
This field is for the main authors of the book. Other contributors can be listed separately below. "
I just marked a book as finished and noticed that my streak didn't go up. I realized to my extreme dismay that I forgot to log my reading on this book yesterday. Ordinarily, I would just delete the entry I just made, log yesterday's, and re-log today's. But because I marked the book as finished, I can no longer do that. I tried to do the trick of marking the book as "reading" again, and then editing the entries that way, but I somehow ended up with no way to add the "finished" entry and have it show only one read. Or at least not that I've been able to discover. I've written in to support for this particular book and I'm hoping there's a way to set this right that isn't me screenshotting all my entries and redoing them one by one.
The fact that this is such a permanent and irreversible action is honestly one of the biggest ongoing pain points for me using this app. I'm glad that there is the "are you sure?" pop up, because I used to get into situations like this more often before that got added, but there was no way for me to really tell that I shouldn't click yes until after it was done.
I'm titling this "undo marking book as finished" but I'd love literally any solution that would help quickly and easily fix the data. Split existing journal entries? Add entries even in "finished"? Undo back to "Reading" within a certain time limit? Please just anything to help fix mistakes without having to incorrectly mark a book read multiple times. Because it also spams the Community Feed, it now looks like I read this three times in the span of five minutes.
I’d love an option that allows all comments to be shown if a Buddy Read book is marked as DNFd.
I’m currently Buddy Reading a book that I’m not enjoying and am tempted to DNF but I still want to be able to see and reply to my friends comments as she reads further. There can still be valuable discussion even if a book isn’t finished.
Maybe there could be a button that lets you choose whether you see the comments or not.
There have been several times that I am writing a review or a progress comment in the app and either I accidentally tap a button or scroll too much and refresh the page, losing everything I have written. A simple "do you really want to discard your progress" popup would fix a lot of frustration.
Almost all urban fiction and urban romances are categorized as thrillers and romance. It makes accurate tracking of genres difficult. Urban fiction is a distinct genre with aspects that are different from general romance and thriller.
It would be great to see some of our thick books get the love that they deserve in the stats section.
Adding a 700+ pages statistic would be wonderful, and changing the current 500+ to “500-699 pages”
It's great that it now explicitly says we are re-reading something, but would love to see it say that in the community page as well!
