Yes, I would love this instead of having my re-reads grouped into my total/all-time books and ratings. I find that lumping everything together is skewing my number of books and ratings upward.

I understand that the status dropdown (currently reading, finished, etc.) reflects a moment in time, but I really use Storygraph as a way to track and analyze all of the discrete books I have read. I'm currently using a custom tag but being able to filter out rereads from my new-to-me books would help me better understand my reading trends. For example, if I reread an author's full backlist of 5 books twice, my stats will show I've read 10 books by that author this year, when they have only published 5 books!
