When wanting to look for available giveaways i always have to set my country again to see what i can enter in. It would be cool if the app remembered where i live :)

It can be a little frustrating to scroll through a long book list and have to pause every 10 books.

It would be nice if the books continued to load as you scrolled (instead of the next load only triggering when you reached the end of the next 10 book chunk)

Like, maybe book 14 started to load while you were looking at book 4.

Alternately, it would be nice if the books loaded in > 10 book chunks.

Currently the app doesn't do well at importing Norwegian books by ISBN.

This could be solved by integrating with something like Bokbasen (https://www.bokbasen.no/en) which provides the required metadata.

Sorry if this topic exists elsewhere and I couldn’t find it! I’d love to see more stats for weeks—we have lots for days and months. I know we can run custom dates, but I’d love to see built-in stats for weeks in the streak page and/or general stats page. Especially since my streak goal is weekly, I’d love to compare week to week in addition to day to day.

I remember you were looking for more plus streak ideas so maybe this helps!

Can you also add affiliated partners from Europe, preferably the Netherlands?

As of now, when I want to add a tag to a book, it matches the typed string in the entirety of the words ("fulltext"), instead of their beginnings.

Example: starting to type "bo" will keep listing all the tags having "bo" in them like "notebook", "nabokov", etc. instead of showing "botanical" which starts with those letters.

I always have to type the entire tag for it to appear without scrolling. Would love for that to change!

I'd love the possibility to rate book covers. Doesn't need to be anything complicated or elaborate, just a 1-5 checkbox rating system, like on the book rating page. 🙂

I would love to add a target end date for a book I’m currently reading and have storygraph tell me how many pages a dayI should read to reach that goal

I'd love to be able to tap my watch and indicate that I'd finished a book and started the next. Anything to keep me from putting down a book and picking up my phone, please!

I currently don't see a way to get back to the StoryGraph home page from the roadmap page without editing the URL in my browser. If there truly isn't a way to get back home, there should be! And if there is a way already, can we make it more prominent?

When I'm doing a reading challenge I like to look at the books other users have added to the prompt for ideas of what to read. But when there are tons of books, it's hard to look through. It would be nice to be able to sort it and filter it to find books I would want to read

I can filter books on my lists to show which I own/don't own. I'd like that feature when I'm looking at other people's profile's so that I can see which book they own/don't own.

This would help with giftgiving, because then you can look at someone's TBR and show books they don't own yet.

I've fallen hard into reading comics this year for the first time in my life and I'm loving it, but it's messing up my StoryGraph stats 😂

At this point I'm reading most of them on Marvel Unlimited, instead of in any type of book (physical or digital). The way I'm logging them is by finding a collection on StoryGraph that contains the set of issues I'm currently reading and log my progress against it until I read all the issues in that book. But, this means that both my format chart and my book length charts are pretty wildly skewed compared to the actual books I'm reading.

I would love a way to easily make a container that is basically just for me to log pages against and have it not impact my book stats at all. I'm imagining being able to create something called "Marvel Comics" that would just exist for my own account, and just be able to add entries like any other book, but sans format or book length. I have done this in the past to log miscellaneous fanfic by creating a "not a book", but it felt like I was wrenching that feature to do things it wasn't designed to do, because it still needed a bunch of "book-like" info. E.g., you are required to set a page length of the "not a book", and I want to basically be able to log to this indefinitely without worrying about hitting a max.

I don't know if I'm the only one who would want something like this, but just figured I'd toss it out there!

I would love an option to get a cute "Yay, you finished this book" graphic to share. I love it on apps I've used in the past.

Make a re-read section within the read books, or maybe an independent button to see them, something to make it easier to access the list of books we have read multiple times.

I've been thinking it might be fun for the participants page of a reading challenge to have an indicator of how complete the challenge is, as in the collective effort of all the participants.

I picture it maybe having three indicators: one showing how many prompts have been completed by the participant who's made the most progress, one showing how many prompts have been completed by the participant who's made the least progress, and one showing some kind of average of everybody's progress.

Would love to have an option for light/medium/heavy overall weight of a book. Keep it loose, this could be density of prose, political intrigue, depth of world, or just general vibes.

For the monthly stats and graphs it will be nice to have an option to check off or uncheck books you would like included in that graph or stats. For instance in my current monthly graph it included all of the books that I put on pause.

Add an option to the challenge of will not read so that it will mark it as a book that I won't read but still included in the percentage so I guess in the percentage it will show read not read Will not read. Especially when it comes to like reading author’s catalog.

I'm still using a old school iPod to listen to audiobooks and unlike Libby or Audible, the books are broken into tracks, which makes it virtually impossible to use to track progress here on storygraph, as each track has a different HH:MM and I have no idea what percentage of the book overall I've listened to.

I would love to see a similar sort of thing as to goodreads where each track is listed as a "page." Even better would be to have each track as a "chapter" and you could specify how far you're into that chapter.

I would prefer to know how parts of the book are paced instead of the general pacing. Also when reviewing, if e.g. the start and middle was slow but the last third super fast paced, I'm not sure what pace to rate it as. I would like to have an option to rate the individual parts e.g. in a graph format with moving dots or at least 3 different parts - start, middle, end.

Some of my horizontal custom charts employ a lot of tags, and tend to get smushed together. It might be nice to have an option to make the chart run longer down the page as the number of tags being included increased.

Is there an option to turn off this tag? I don’t care what the sexuality of the people in my books is, it even spoils part of the story for me sometimes. Which I hate, I don’t want to be spoiled, it’s not a genre, I honestly don’t know why it’s such a huge thing on this site about books. Who you love is not a genre, it’s just life, it’s part of the story, not the whole story. And if you take it this far, then I think you should add more cultural relevant tags, not just this one.
