The new recs algorithm is a MASSIVE downgrade for me, the ONLY section consistently offering books I'm actually interested in is the "out of my comfort zone"

What's worse is that I keep getting books shown in my recs section on the homepage that I cannot find to 'delete' when I explore the recs.

I emailed about this and Abbie suggested an attempted workaround, quote:
"A workaround for now would be to click into the book and take a screenshot, so you can see its moods, pace, genres etc. Then go into your recs and try doing a filter search for this book's specific criteria. Hopefully it'll show up and you can x it out. "

When I tried this, I got this result:

"No recommendations found!"

PLEASE Add the option to hit the "X" on book and/or author from the recs tab on the homepage. I have wasted quite literally HOURS over the last 2 days hunting for the 'alien romance' books shown the screenshot, to no avail.
