It seems like the header is pushed down from where it normally is, the tags icon is off the screen, and there's a slight horizontal scroll. I tried force stopping and restarting and it still stayed like this. I'll add pics in a comment.

Ive noticed recently that some of the personalised AI overview text is getting blocked out like a spoiler, but as far as I can tell its not hiding spoilers.

This book was completed and has been added successfully to some challenges but not Free Black Women's Library.

I’m trying to complete a dystopian fiction reading list and it seems that some books are being handled inconsistently when marking them as “read” within challenges.

In the attached screenshot, the left side shows the main challenge page: The Handmaid’s Tale is marked as “read”, while Fahrenheit 451 is marked as “to-read”. On the right, I show the pages that open when clicking each of these books in the challenge. In both cases, the page indicates that I have read a different edition from the one listed in the challenge.

Given that both books are in the same situation (the read edition differs from the listed edition), I would expect them to be treated the same way. The Handmaid’s Tale appears to be handled correctly, but Fahrenheit 451 is not, despite the underlying circumstances being identical.

I just noticed that for books where I have a finished date when I click Editions and the book is in the Current Edition box, it shows "No read date". In other places, I see the read date, including if I browse the list view with another edition in the Current Edition box. I was able to see this bug consistently with every book I checked on the desktop view and in the iOS app.

When I click in to see my 5* books it's confusing to have them populate in a random order

I was scrolling my Community Feed this morning and noticed multiple books that my friends have read which I also read were not showing the "Read" label. At first I thought it was just because I read a different format, but then I realized that it was if I didn't read the exact same edition. I'm not sure if this is a new change or if it's always been like this, but it seems wrong to me. The screenshots I'm attaching show a book that I also read as an audiobook but must have chosen a different edition than my friend.

There's a Set Page Goal. This is also a reading goal: it feels like the wording reflects a time when there was only one goal to set for reading but now there are multiple goals, the first of which is the book count

The recent issue with tags no longer showing up in certain views has been fixed (thanks Nadia!), but since that issue initially propped up tags are no longer sorted alphabetically. For those of us who use tags heavily the alphabetical sorting helps tremendously so would be great if this comes back. This issue sorting issue might only be in list views.

Minor bug I noticed when scrolling through my favorites on desktop.

The tags aren't displaying on the book entry in a few places. I'm not seeing them in the tag list or on the currently reading page. They're still there, there's just no way to see them without opening "edit tags." They're displaying correctly on the To-read Pile page and the individual book page. They're also displaying as normal on mobile (with the arrow to display more tags).

Since the recent book page design changes, there's been a bug where the edition details drop-down link disappears on the series or author page. In my experience, this happens when I've navigated to an author or series page from a book's Editions page. The drop-down link will reappear after refreshing the author/series page. I've noticed this bug on both the iOS app and desktop.

When I'm entering giveaways and you hit the "enter giveaway" button or sometimes the "confirm and enter" button it lags and has to be pressed a second time. The color of the bottom changes to a darker blue too... I mostly notice this when I'm on app as that's where I usually enter giveaways and it seems to happen more when I have a filter applied for searching giveaways..

I uploaded a pic of the button changing to the darker blue before I pressed it a second time. I have a screen recording of it too but couldn't upload that.

the percentage of my "pages" reading goal shows up as "100%" on my profile page, but as "99%" on my challenges page.

I tested it on pc and on my phone, which has two screens (1 square & 1 narrow), it's the same on all of those screen sizes.

When I type '0' as the lower bound for the publication date in the "Publication Year vs. Read Date" chart, nothing happens (see image).

When searching for a title with an ampersand in it, the search cuts off the ampersand and anything after it. Makes it a bit annoying to search for some titles. Not sure if any other special characters have the same issue.

However, if you click "View all results..." on the search bar drop-down instead of the search button on the keyboard, then everything works as expected without cutting anything off.

Example: "Batman & Robin" becomes just "Batman" on the search results page. I have screenshots and a screen recording but it doesn't seem to let me attach them here.

I am using the app version 1.27 on Android 14.

When using speech to text in a journal entry, frequently the text will appear correct, at first, but then will reformat itself, deleting sections and spacing out the text (I have noticed this when adding quotes)

I have a screen recorded video of the bug as well, but am unable to post it here.

I was trying to filter for books I've read but haven't rated yet, so I tried to go to Stats / Read Books / All Time / Star ratings and check the no rating column.

I found that 67 books are without rating-- but none of the listed books are read, they're all dnf-ed. From scrolling my read books I know that there are at least 2 read books without rating. Those don't show here.

I dnf-ed 90 books, and only 23 of them are without explanation, so I double checked: Stats for read but unrated books seem to count reviewed dnf-ed books only.

Or did I get the whole thing wrong and there are other ways to filter for read books without rating? 🫣

Whenever I'm searching for a specific volume of manga or a magazine, including the issue or volume number doesn't really work. A lot of the time search will just pull up the first few issues, no matter what number I include. Or sometimes it pulls up a selection of issues based on what feels like a random criteria, but not the volume with the number I've inputted. A couple of examples attached.
All of the volumes I'm searching for have an entry and I can usually find them if I scroll down on the results page, but it's frustrating that they don't show up first.

I have a pages goal of 8,000 pages and am at 7,966 pages, but it already shows 100% when I’d expect it to still be at 99%. Presumably this is because it’s rounding up starting at 99.5%.

My expected behaviour here would be to always round down, so I only see x% when I’ve actually read at least x% of my goal, not at least (x-0.5)%.

I changed the streak settings to tests things and my longest Streak disappeared when I tried to come back to my initial settings (by 7 days).

Longest Streak at the moment is 1 but it was more than 80 before my changes so something must be off. I did try to update and recalculate the streak but nothing.

One one edition of a book on my TBR the first published date is 2026 which is correct, but the edition pub date is mistakenly marked as 2025.

Perhaps there should be some validation to stop an edition pub date being before the first published date, as by definition that shouldn't be able to happen?

Or maybe not an outright block but it could pop up and say "are you sure?" before entering conflicting dates?

For example I have a stat saying 623 minutes listened on 15th October 2024. However I have no audiobooks in 'format' and no audiobook length stat. Going to my reading journal (difficult with infinite scroll!) shows minutes listened but when you click through to the book it shows the correct digital edition

I was trying to use the recommendations advanced search feature, but the search either never loaded, timed out, or I received an error message. I've tried adjusting the filters I'm setting, but the error remains regardless of how many or few filters I add.
