When I type '0' as the lower bound for the publication date in the "Publication Year vs. Read Date" chart, nothing happens (see image).

When searching for a title with an ampersand in it, the search cuts off the ampersand and anything after it. Makes it a bit annoying to search for some titles. Not sure if any other special characters have the same issue.
However, if you click "View all results..." on the search bar drop-down instead of the search button on the keyboard, then everything works as expected without cutting anything off.
Example: "Batman & Robin" becomes just "Batman" on the search results page. I have screenshots and a screen recording but it doesn't seem to let me attach them here.
I am using the app version 1.27 on Android 14.
When using speech to text in a journal entry, frequently the text will appear correct, at first, but then will reformat itself, deleting sections and spacing out the text (I have noticed this when adding quotes)
I have a screen recorded video of the bug as well, but am unable to post it here.
I was trying to filter for books I've read but haven't rated yet, so I tried to go to Stats / Read Books / All Time / Star ratings and check the no rating column.
I found that 67 books are without rating-- but none of the listed books are read, they're all dnf-ed. From scrolling my read books I know that there are at least 2 read books without rating. Those don't show here.
I dnf-ed 90 books, and only 23 of them are without explanation, so I double checked: Stats for read but unrated books seem to count reviewed dnf-ed books only.
Or did I get the whole thing wrong and there are other ways to filter for read books without rating? š«£
Whenever I'm searching for a specific volume of manga or a magazine, including the issue or volume number doesn't really work. A lot of the time search will just pull up the first few issues, no matter what number I include. Or sometimes it pulls up a selection of issues based on what feels like a random criteria, but not the volume with the number I've inputted. A couple of examples attached.
All of the volumes I'm searching for have an entry and I can usually find them if I scroll down on the results page, but it's frustrating that they don't show up first.
I have a pages goal of 8,000 pages and am at 7,966 pages, but it already shows 100% when Iād expect it to still be at 99%. Presumably this is because itās rounding up starting at 99.5%.
My expected behaviour here would be to always round down, so I only see x% when Iāve actually read at least x% of my goal, not at least (x-0.5)%.
Thanks for building this amazing app š
I changed the streak settings to tests things and my longest Streak disappeared when I tried to come back to my initial settings (by 7 days).
Longest Streak at the moment is 1 but it was more than 80 before my changes so something must be off. I did try to update and recalculate the streak but nothing.
One one edition of a book on my TBR the first published date is 2026 which is correct, but the edition pub date is mistakenly marked as 2025.
Perhaps there should be some validation to stop an edition pub date being before the first published date, as by definition that shouldn't be able to happen?
Or maybe not an outright block but it could pop up and say "are you sure?" before entering conflicting dates?
For example I have a stat saying 623 minutes listened on 15th October 2024. However I have no audiobooks in 'format' and no audiobook length stat. Going to my reading journal (difficult with infinite scroll!) shows minutes listened but when you click through to the book it shows the correct digital edition
I was trying to use the recommendations advanced search feature, but the search either never loaded, timed out, or I received an error message. I've tried adjusting the filters I'm setting, but the error remains regardless of how many or few filters I add.
There is no link to import a book using its ISBN anymore.
When sending, or cancelling, a friendship request to a user, the favourite books disappear from their favourite shelf in their profile. Reloading the page makes them appear again.
Tried from an ubuntu pc, both from Firefox and from Chrome browser, I have the issue in both.
From android app it seems to be working fine.
Recording attached
My phone's status bar is covering the upper half of both the app's search bar and menu. It started today.

All day I have not been able to access this page, and this page only. It brings up an error that says "gateway timeout" with the error being not on the browser or cloudflare but on the host (app.storygraph.com)
Twice when I have written a journal entry for a book (not a buddy read comment), I have written the note, hit "save" and received the following error message. The entry is logged in the journal, if I go look for it.
After using the date-specific track progress page to submit a journal entry, I usually try to hit back to go back to the home page, but I always have to hit back 2 or 3 times to do so because the first navigation takes me back through the track progress page I just submitted. Ideally thatās a temporary dialog page that should be removed from the back stack once itās been closed.
Requested experience: once Iāve submitted a journal entry, when I hit back I should be navigated directly to the page I started to ātrack progressā from.
When I update my current reading progress and go to challenges I see that the stats are not updated.
Once I refresh the app the numbers update but they go quickly back.
Upon closing the app fully and restarting it all looks good.

I am using Google Pixel 62 - Android 16
So every time I go to a new page on TSG it makes me go through this page where it says it's verifying that I'm a human. It's annoying but not an overly big deal, but it just happened when I tried to click post after writing a review. The review got erased with no way of getting back to it because of this verification check page that popped up in the middle.
Using the Android app.
If I Save/Update a review with some content warnings selected, then immediately click Edit to make a change to my review, I see that each of the three Content Warning selection fields has been duplicated. If I Update again, then click Edit again, a third row appears for each of them. This appears to continue indefinitely.
Hi! If you reread a book, Storygraph counts it as a separate book, even if you are rereading the same edition of the book (i.e. has same ISBN number), which mistakenly brings up the total number of books that you've read. I've attached a screenshot of an example below (for context, I read this book first in 2023, and then more recently in 2025).
I wasnāt sure if it was by design, but on my Profile the topmost located Reading Journal button is a different color than the other buttons. This kinda throws me off because it looks like a clicked button and feels off to me visually.
(Itās also not as a big of a deal but it would be nice to only have one Reading Journal button rather than two so close to each other - thereās one in the section with the stats button as well as in the Currently Reading section just below it. Itās especially noticeable when I donāt have any books marked reading and feels repetitive.)
When I donāt have any books marked as reading, the Currently Reading section on my profile bumps right up against the section above it.
But when I mark a book as a reading, it returns to being evenly spaced.
Iāll add photos, thanks!
When I check a book's reviews on desktop web browser, if I click on the Spoiler tag to reveal it, it pushes any regular text below it out of the review's box. In order to read the rest of the review, I have to click on the Spoiler tag again to hide it.
This only happens when I go from a book's page > the scrolling list of reviews. It does not happen if I click on the direct link to a book review, then click the spoiler tag.
It was fixed temporarily, but the book URLS are not converting into title links anymore.
If you share a link to a book in social media platforms or in places like Slack, you used to get a little preview of the book name and description powered by either Open Graph meta tags or Twitter meta tags. However, those appear to have stopped working, at least on Slack and Discord, in the past week, or so.
If I navigate to a book page (eg, https://app.thestorygraph.com/books/dba55989-00a4-4727-af2d-3745ca8c5d0d) in my browser and view the source, I still see the meta tags in the HTML source. However, nothing is showing up when I share links in Slack or Discord.
I'm wondering if maybe Cloudflare is perhaps blocking these services from accessing the pages. If I curl these URLs, I get a 403 Forbidden error that appears to come from Cloudflare, so I'm wondering if maybe other services like Slack are also receiving this. Various OpenGraph checking tools also report getting nothing back (https://opengraph.dev/panel?url=https%3A%2F%2Fapp.thestorygraph.com%2Fbooks%2F9fcaffe0-7f5b-48a8-96b4-6a741cfdeb23), although Facebook's Official debugger (https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/) does return something, so maybe just Facebook's IPs are being allowed?
(The Facebook preview also includes an image preview, which hadn't seen before in Slack, but that would be exciting if that's now included!)
Thanks!
