Can't properly add authors with short names

When adding a book, the author field requires 3 characters to search the database. This has caused me issues when adding Korean books as some names only consist of 2 syllables (which are counted as two characters). I can add them as a new author since that field does not have a character limit but I expect that that would create duplicates each time I add one of their books.

i've found when searching for authors with two-character names, adding a space afterwards will account for the third character and will then show you the author you're looking for.
filing book tickets works well ofc but this could be a temporary solution for anyone wanting to add the authors themselves!
Okay! I'll have to look into this. In the meantime, you can file a book ticket — by clicking "Report missing/incorrect information..." and a team member will look into adding the authors for you!
