The new navbar at the iPadOS app completely covers up the search.
The titles for the pages are also covered up in the scrolling navbar which makes navigation incredibly confusing and unintuitive. Screen recording - https://imgur.com/39H6irU
The iPad app is updated and on v1.15.

It's an Apple system change for iPads in iOS18. They replace the bottom tab bar with this top one automatically.
You can see a bunch of frustration from developers when this change was released here: https://forums.developer.apple.com/forums/thread/756652
Someone posted some code in there that I tried out — after trying a million other things — and it worked so that top bar will be gone, and the bottom one will be back, in v1.16! 🥳
Fix available in v1.16.

Same.
Seeing the same. But I do like the new look outside the nav/ search overlap
Navbar also an issue in landscape mode (on iPad Pro). iPad app on v1.15. Checked if this would resolve by deleting app, restarting iPad, and reinstalling app, but issue persists.
