No Date issue for read books

Some of my books that I mark as "read" are showing up as "no date" in my read history. I have to go in and manually put in the new date so it will count. I'm not sure what's triggering this. It looks like this often happens when I read a book and finish it same day, but I'm not sure. I attached an example of one book that I shows up as "no date". I added the book first as "currently reading" and then finished it same day so I changed the status to "read" but it didn't add the date of completion.

I’m not sure when it happens but I do have to keep going back to add dates read. I don’t usually mark as currently reading. But seems like if i mark as read, it should capture that date. I also add reviews on most of mine now (because you make that easy and engaging!) but I don’t see that the review is dated either. Maybe if the “date read” was part of the “add review” page it would get updated better.

Ok I'll keep an eye on this! I might be overlooking that I go straight to read in the drop down.

That is strange! "No date" should only happen if you mark a book as "Read" directly and then don't add a date, not if you go from "Currently reading".

I've just tried it on a book myself — please see attached.

If it's definitely happening when you go from "Currently reading" to "Read" is it possible for you to take a screen recording of it happening so I can investigate?

Thanks!
