Recalculate streak changes days the streaks run from and to

When I hit recalculate streak, it changes the current period from whatever it was before (e.g. 19th to the 25th June) today to 7 days in the future. This seems to change the history too (as in the dates that the count run from and to) as I have now lost my streak that was previously active. Maybe this is how it is intended to work, but if so it should be clear that clicking that will have this result

Ah good idea, clicking it again on the original day sorted it, thank you!

I still think it might be good to have some warning that hitting recalculate could change your streak as it will change the day it's counted on. Another thought I had is that it might be useful for it to always state the period the streak is based on right now.

It's usually there before you have hit the streak for that week, but once you've met the goal then it disappears so you can't see the dates of the current period.

Hmm, I might have to change how it's working in the backend to account for this!

For your current situation, perhaps you could keep tracking as you would have done and then recalculate on Monday (or whatever day would get you back to your prior periods).

We can also add in what your streak should have been based on the prior periods if you email in to support. However, of course, if you lose the streak again and recalculate it may be lost again.
