Reread Book Counts As Separate Book

Hi! If you reread a book, Storygraph counts it as a separate book, even if you are rereading the same edition of the book (i.e. has same ISBN number), which mistakenly brings up the total number of books that you've read. I've attached a screenshot of an example below (for context, I read this book first in 2023, and then more recently in 2025).

Hello. This is intentional in the list view — and has been that way since the very beginning — as it acts as a timeline of all of your reading. I think this search view would be made better if the read dates actually showed up! Or perhaps during search you don't see the duplicates. But it's intentional and loved by users that we count a reread as a separate book in general.
