Setting the dnf status changes past reading journal entry

Hi,
I changed the status to did not finish, however that didn't create its own journal entry but changed the last entry. Since I wanted to go back to currently reading I can't just delete the dnf entry from my history without deleting an older update.
Is this status change supposed to behave like that?

Hi _dani!

I'm a little confused. Can you please explain the step by step of what you did so I can figure out what's happened here?

Thank you!

Hi Nadia , sorry, I should have explained what I did in more detail.
I had the book in status currently reading, then set the status to did not finish.
This changed the entry of october and did not create a new journal entry for 18th of December with the new status. I realised though that I made a mistake, so I then changed the status of the book back to currently reading, which created a new journal entry as expected. (the last one in the screenshot).
This creates the situation, that I'm not able to remove the wrong status change from my journal history without deleting the status update from October.
I hope that made more sense. I mean, this is not a big deal because how often am I really going to take a look at all the status changes, but I thought I might mention it here in case it actually is a bug :)

_dani Thank you for the detail! No need to apologise at all. This is great as I can try and recreate it in some weeks to fix in. In the meantime, how do you want your history against this book to look and can you fix it yourself or do you need any assistance from us?
