Speech to text in journal entries

When using speech to text in a journal entry, frequently the text will appear correct, at first, but then will reformat itself, deleting sections and spacing out the text (I have noticed this when adding quotes)
I have a screen recorded video of the bug as well, but am unable to post it here.

That's probably to do with the text editor we're using. There's a new and improved version coming out and I wonder if it'll solve this issue and others we have with the editor.
Nadia I've been having this problem across the board within The StoryGraph, and have also generally found that speech to text and swipe text (I have no idea what this is called, where you don't have to hit the keys and just swipe about the keyboard) on the StoryGraph is poor compared to Whatsapp, which is probably my most text heavy app use. I hadn't realised that there were separate text editors - always figured it was just something my phone did and couldn't work out why it hated my book notes! Presumably the improved version has already been delivered? Can we report bugs to the text editor coders, or will they not care?
aliloum So, the text editor we used kinda forked off into a new thing and I didn't want to do the upgrade while it was newly out. I need to look into it again now and see what the situation is and perform the upgrade.
aliloum It's open source software, but used by other companies so they may or may not care...I'll have to check the lay of the land first.
