Streak showing incorrect numbers

This may be the way it has always worked but I think there might be a bug in the way the streak is displaying.
I broke my 3+ year long streak this month 😠and read a bit three days ago. When I read again the consecutive day, it showed "🔥1", and I had to manually recalculate it before it showed "🔥2".
I missed yesterday, but I just logged reading for today. Now it's showing that my current streak is 3. I know that there is a feature to say "hey, did you forget to log yesterday? Make sure you do it so your streak gets maintained", but it seems to me like it should be displaying "Current Streak: 2", not 3.

Nadia I know how to fix my streak, I've done it many times. I still think after reading this that there are bugs here, and I don't think they are unique to my account. I think the 48 hour grace period (I couldn't remember if it was 24 or 48) makes things straight up display incorrectly. I never noticed it when my streak was long, but now that I'm restarting the habit in fits and starts, it seems like it is constantly displaying incorrect data.
jaina8851 I understand that there might be a wider bug here and that's what you're reporting but I'm asking you to please email in.
Also it looks like the screenshot I tried to attach yesterday didn't get attached. This is the one where it should be saying 2, not 3.
ETA: Today (the next day) it shows "0" despite the fact that I read yesterday. I just logged some reading, and now it shows "🔥1" again instead of "2🔥".
