suggestions skewed to one preference

I have noticed that my suggestions page is skewed towards one genre category, with only a few exceptions. 95% of my recommendations were travel focused until I removed travel from my preferences, now 95% are young adult focused. I have 4 genres listed in my preferences page.

Have you filled out your free-text box, I wonder?
Since you're Plus, you can also make infinite use of the filter menu to include/exclude genres.
I'm sure there's a way we can work with you to prevent this from happening but the current overhaul we're doing to the recs system — which will hopefully go live in the next few months — will mean that this will eventually no longer be an issue!
