Hey!

I’m not sure if this is a bug or if it’s something that needs to be changed. But I’d love to be able to see the translator’s name along with the author’s under the Currently Reading section on the home page

Hello. It's not a bug. By default, we only list author names on certain views (especially because in some cases the list of contributors can be large), but we'll keep this suggestion in mind.

Nadia I understand that reasoning, especially given that, as you note, the list of contributors can be quite large. The thing is, there is a long history of translators being erased and ignored when it comes to books. They often don't get the credit they deserve. And within that context, I think it is important to name the translator.

Moreover, at least for me, translators are just as important as authors. Just as I have favourite authors who I always read, I have favourite translators I always read. For book where I might not know the author because they write in a language I don't know, I might read the book because I am familiar with the translator and enjoy their work.

I would appreciate, perhaps, even having the option to include the translator in those views.
