Switched edition listed in journal entries

I usually go back and forth between audiobook and physical since I listen to audiobooks when I'm driving for work.
I've been starting a book as a/p/h then switching to different edition as in format a/p/h before entering my progress in percentage or pages. However I noticed the "switched to this edition" does not appear in journal entries.
It would be more convenient for this to be possible than to notate every progress update if it was audiobook, paperback, or hardback for that portion as it could be hours later before I have time after work or the weekend to update.
Of course, theres still the option to ignore or delete that entry for those who use it differently than this.

Is this request not tied to us delivering our immersive reading features, i.e. when we launch those features, the journal entries would correctly convey what's happening as you toggle between both or simultaneously listen/read, so no need for any manual updates/calculations?

Let me know if they are separate requests.
Nadia similar but instead of tandem reading. It's more okay i read the first half of this book as an audio book. Switched to paperback edition. Finished as a paperback. But in journal entries it doesnt track "switched to this edition" as an action which is what id like it to do especially since I go back and forth between the formats as im driving or at home. Not reading them simultaneously.
This could also help end of year stats be more accurate for format most read if 70% of a book read as audio but rest as paperback.
cerulean_angel Yes, the second link I posted is the 'no overlap' version of different formats. So I reckon that still fits with what you're asking.
I've switched format a couple times and this is definitely an incredibly needed feature. I did manage to switch between editions and log it correctly for my records, but it was a lot of manual calculations.
