"Do Not Count" towards reading goal

Could we have a button or box to check to keep a book from being counted towards the reading goals?
For example sometimes authors will put out a really short story about a character they have. I'm talking like 4 pages short. I like to mark them as read, but I don't want them to count toward my book goal.
(I don't mind them counting toward my page goal, but that might be too involved to have one but not the other.)

I would also love something like this for the purpose of rereads. I don't personally like to count rereads toward my reading total, but still like to keep track of the dates of when I did them. So having an option to exclude them from the total would be great.
All the bonus chapters in all these books now too is what I would like to exclude. I want to mark them as read for my page count / challenges, but I don't want them counting as actual books toward my reading goal
Another use case is that I would like to exclude audiobooks from the reading goal. It's not currently possible, right?

We will definitely have something like this in future. We'd probably have a way to customise which goals a book would count towards.
