"switch edition"

At the moment, in order to switch editions (after adding a new edition for example) you need to go to the main page for an edition you don't want or 'you are reading another edition', click 'see alternate editions' and then can click 'switch edition.' I think it might be useful to be able to click 'switch edition' from the main page, or at least from any version of the 'browse editions' page.
The above is badly phrased, but maybe there could be a 'switch edition' button on the top edition of a book as well as the ones below the 'jump/filter'?

I also would love to be able to see which edition I've selected from the main book page at a glance, rather than having to do into "Switch editions" to figure it out.
We are aware this is not as smooth a process as it should be, and I definitely agree that the switch editions button needs to be available no matter where you're clicking from! Hopefully we can address this soon :-)
