I know I have the ability to DNF books but what I would really like is a section to mark a book as something I will not read that is separate and will keep books I either have not interest in reading or have a personal objection to reading from coming up in my recommended feed.

If you want it gone forever, you can click on the (x) next to the title (or the author if you don't want anything from the author). If you're looking at the recommendations, you have to click browse on a section to get the books in the format where the (x) appears. But it should also come up if you're just looking at the Explore tab.
If I remember correctly, there's not currently a way to see all the books that you've dismissed, but I think there will be in the future.
Yes! I like this idea. I often find myself looking up the same buzzy title multiple times to check if it meets my criteria… would be a time saver to be able to see if I’ve already searched & dismissed it.
