What if we had the ability to choose to join a community, for example, a geographical region, and then we could vote on what genre we in the community were going to read in the next year/month, and then all read different books that fit the criteria.

It would act like an extension of the challenges, as we can currently choose to join those, but can't upvote. Also, we could have a widget on our Your Storygraph page that would scroll through the books people are reading in the community that they are 'releasing' to the community (have to think about privacy settings there...).

I was also thinking we could have stats from it... :)
