Adapt Reading Challenges

Add a button for copying a reading challenge from someone else and and being able to change it as your own reading challenge. This would allow for things like changing the dates, or deleting prompts without having to create a challenge from scratch.

Yes, I've had this idea! I think we'll definitely do it in the future. It's like on GitHub, the main place where people store code, where people can "fork" other people's public code, and there's a little subheading saying "forked from...." linking to the original repo.

I guess we can also have a setting that says "allow people to remix/duplicate", etc.

Maybe a possibility would be to have these Live private copies listed as "child" challenges on the RC page, with every one necessarily containing a link back to the Public "parent" challenge?

It would make the copying feel less skeevy—clearly more just a matter of tailoring the prompt list to your specific tastes—and anyone visiting the RC page could go back to the main one and join it/make a version of their own :D

I have also thought about this many times in the past, it would certainly save users a lot of time! Hopefully we could make it clear that it's for personal use, so live rather than public, as we wouldn't want creators' ideas being taken, or lots of duplicate challenges on the challenge explore page!
