Add Content Warnings while book is marked as "Currently Reading"

It would be super helpful if I could add CW's while I'm still reading a book. I suppose I could probably add them as notes under the track progress notes, but then I would need to collate them myself at the end.

This this this!!! It would be much easier to log them as I'm going, I usually forget a good chunk of them by the end.

This is such a good idea, since it could be coupled with the progress through the book for people to know what to expect and at what point. Especially since people can have different interpretations of the gravity of a trigger, so being able to see what different users have marked the trigger as for that section could add better understanding for someone of whether they can handle a book or not

Just seconding this suggestion as it's something I keep wanting as I'm reading. I suppose I can keep separate notes and add at the end but it would be great if I could just add as I come across things! Especially for minor/mention only things where there is one instance of something I feel like I often forget about them by the time I finish the book, especially if it's long or something like an anthology.

I second all of the comments here with the addition of having the option to add the page numbers/chapters that the content warning occurs. This might be helpful for readers who otherwise would love to read the book, but want to avoid specific content.

I just wanted to do this for the third time, so I went and searched if there was already a ticket. Since I don't know the whole list of tsg's content warnings by heart, noting them down in my reading journal doesn't help me in the end. I'd like to have the list present or be able to select from that list. That would be super helpful.

I would still love this feature! If I switch books or take a while on a book, I can completely forget about a particular content warning I want to add by the time I finish.

I think this would actually be a subset of a bigger feature, which would be the ability to draft and edit my review as I read, and publish it once I’ve finished or DNF.

bookcasey We will have draft reviews for sure! For now, the best thing to do is to use your reading journal to keep a note of any content warnings.

That'd be super handy, especially as I don't feel I'd be able to recall everything by the end of the book. It would be nice if this could be entered as you go, or even indicate on which pages?

That has been the suggested work around, yes. Considering that the "severity" of content may change as the book continues, you'd need to make edits once you have all the information, anyway.

Maybe just being able to access your review for the book, which only gets published if you mark the book "read" or "dnf"?
