Add reason for rejecting a buddy read invite

I was just invited to join a buddy read and I’m not interested in the book, but I want to add a message to the creator explaining why! I’ve never rejected a buddy read before, so hopefully I’m not missing anything.

You're not missing anything! I'm not sure if we'll have this feature. For now, you could join the read, leave a comment at 0%, wait for acknowledgement and then leave the buddy read (at which point your comment will be removed). Up to you!
