Add the colon to the numbers pad for hours and minutes

I don’t know if this is possible considering Apple or android keyboard formatting requirements, but can you add the colon key to the numbers pad/keyboard for adding hours and minutes in a progress update? It'scenes unnecessary (cluttered) to show the entire keyboard when the only extra key you need is the colon. Again, I understand UI Coding constraints may not permit this.

Another option would be to have the colon automatically appear once the hours are input or have the colon already in the dialogue box. The cursor could jump to the other side once two numbers are put in for hours (i.e., 06:30).

I prefer using percentages whenever I can, but I'm still desperately waiting for audible to include percentage in its app. If I could, I would use other audiobook platforms, but I already have thousands of audiobooks in their ecosystem, and I like how the Kindle app incorporates immersion reading seamlessly. I’ve emailed them hundreds of times about adding percentage to the app and maybe one day incorporating immersion reading into their E-readers (not just the tablets). The frustrating thing is I have to rely on audiobooks and other adaptive reading software due to a physical/cognitive disability that impedes reading physical or digital books alone.

The reason the whole whole keyboard is shown for hours and minutes is because that field is a text field, since a number field won't allow a ":" character and I also cannot display a ":" in place of a "." for the number keypad.

It's also tricky to know when to jump the cursor: most people would only put "6:30" and won't zero-pad the hours.

I tried a bunch of things before launching this feature and of course am open to revisiting it and trying new things to improve the UX.

Nadia that’s what I figured. I just thought I would ask.
