Can you add a “x” in the search field so we can quickly clear it out? It seems so silly to ask, but would be a nice to have. Thanks!

It's not silly to ask at all! It's been a thing that I've been meaning to build for a long time because not all browsers and devices recognise the default "oh, this is a search bar, so I have to show a clear button", which we get for free on the desktop site.
