I've seen several posts where people are trying to read more books by more BIPOC/LGBTQIA voices, or by other languages.

To aid in this, could there be a way to select alternate algorithms for the different widgets (Recommended/ TBR/ etc)?

This would be an overlay on top of the regular algorithm, so the results would be skewed in a known, positive, way.

I've put some options below, but you'll definitely want to talk to a larger group about this, and hopefully include some experts.

Possibilities

• recommend more BIPOC
• Recommend more LGBTQIA
• Recommend more languages (choose language)
• Recommend by country/continent stats - this is one I would like, as I don't think I see a representative sample of the demographics of my country by age/race/language/etc. I also think it would be fun to pick a different country and try to read more from their stats (so not necessarily that the books would have had to have been written by someone in that country/continent - though that sounds interesting too)
