Author ID when clicking on author

Adding the author ID would be helpful maybe on the author page when selecting them on a book.
When adding a new book, it is not clear which author to select so I wish we could distinguish properly, the ID we CAN see doesn't help distinguish between another

I know this was posted over a year ago but wanted to upvote and also add that I think having proper author pages would be SUPER helpful. A short bio and then an organized shelf would be best; right now, clicking on an author just throws you into a list of books that don't consistently follow a clear order so a lot of collections pop up ahead of the author's own books and series.
It would be wonderful to have the option to make an author bio! or link their webpages!
Yes, I need to do that. And also just improve author info in general.
