Batch/Bulk Edit Books (Tags, TBR, Removal, etc.)

Would love to be able to pull up one of my lists and add a tag to a bunch of selected books at once.

Batch edit would be so fire. I feel like it would be useful to be able to switch views to a list format (like a table or something) so you could select multiple items and then potentially have the options to add/remove and then the item you want to add/remove/edit (ie. tags / to list / to challenge / all history). I also think many of us are nerdy enough that if you could support excel file uploads to add tags, etc. that would work too ( as interim solutions) (but if we're being so real I am not in tech and do not know how these things work so maybe its easier to add it to the UI than it is to add it as a spreadsheet upload.

As I joined Plus and am starting to use tags more, I would really like to see this feature.
Boy this is an amazing idea and one I heartily endorse! I wanted to generate some graphs of fiction vs non fiction over time for an essay I was writing, but quickly realised I could not do it without this feature.

I need this so bad. I have 900+ books I want to tag with 7 different things for Stats... and I just cannot get behind individually having to tag every single book. If this can happen in time for 2024 reading wrap updates that would be amazing!
gossamer_lens It should be happening this year, especially with our launch of custom stats.
I love that this is getting attention, it's for sure a feature I'm waiting for (in light of the new personalized stats-feature for tags)
This is absolutely necessary! I'd love to be able to update a series of books with a specific tag, whether it's owned, or to remove titles I've donated from my owned!
Upvoting this! Batch editing tags would make StoryGraph much more useful for cataloguing books we own.

Hello! I did think we'd had this suggestion already, but on a search it's not here! Rest assured this is something we've already thought of and a batch edit for your books will likely be available at some point!
