Buddy reads: share invitation link

Besides having to invite users by adding them manually, could it be possible to have a shareable invitation link of the buddy read? So that users can join them directly. You could also add another level of “privacy” for public buddy reads, where an user can request to join one and the host has to approve them.
I imagine this could be implemented more easily once the navigability improvements of public and available to join buddy reads are released.

Since the buddy read links are already unique, as a first version of this, would you be fine if you could just share the BR link and have people click to join, or do you think you'd need a use limit and/or expiry?

It's been on the list for months to do this. It was actually on last year's roadmap and I'm due to pick this up again in March. Users will be able to share an invite link to their buddy read and, as you reference, there'll also be a way to make the buddy read "public", in the way you can do with reading challenges and readalongs, so they'll be published to a Community/Buddy Read space in the app. I won't be doing requests to join just yet!
