Consolidate pseudonyms in "most read authors"

Is there a way to count books written by an author's known pseudonyms in the "most read authors" stat (or even in searches by author, though that seems even more complex)?
So, for example, if I read one book each by "Louisa May Alcott," "Tribulation Periwinkle," "Flora Fairfield," and "A.M. Barnard," it would show a total count of four books by Louisa May Alcott, reflecting my actual preference for the writing of the actual person, rather than diluting it across pen names with one book under each?

We will eventually have a related/alternate names option for authors, but sometimes readers prefer the pseudonyms separate...like if the pseudonym represents a completely different style/genre of book. Perhaps will have a way to toggle the view on the chart whenever we get our authors organised.
"Whenever we get our authors organised" is doing a lot of work there - sorry to add another request to the pile of things that are dependent on The Author Situation!! (And thanks for working through it, and the rest of the pile, so thoughtfully. <3)
