Date Picker allow typing

For the date picker you can only select dates via picking from the calendar, it would be really great if you could type (sometimes faster if it's not the current month) and have it pick the date that way!

I like this idea. When doing so, also please make it such that when typing dates using your phone, it doesn't automatically default to use a number-only keyboard without the '/' symbol. This is a problem stats.fm has and its really frustrating.
