DNF not counted toward reading goal

I would like to be able to change the setting to NOT include books I DNF as counted towards my reading goal. I know some people do like it to count but I don't especially if I didn't get to at least half way through the book. So maybe a happy medium is a toggle to include or exclude DNF books depending on percentage, pages, length or just personal preference.

DNF books don't count towards your reading goal.
Check out this conversation I had with a user on Twitter yesterday: https://twitter.com/daniiiileighhhh/status/1669160787380781057?s=20.
Maybe you have the same situation?
Nadia I checked how the books are labeled and both were already marked as DNF status under the 'Read Books' menu and under the view/edit journal entries. They're still being counted because by subtracting the DNF books my read books decreased.
happyblkhippie Yes, as discussed in the Twitter thread, they should not be marked as "Read" as well as "DNF". Books marked only as DNF do not show up in the "Read books" page. In the Twitter thread I mention the "View/edit read history" link (not the journal entry one!). DNF books do not have the "View/edit read history" link. Head to that page and remove the read instances (with the 'x' icons). Then, going forward, to DNF a book toggle it to "Did not finish" from the dropdown directly!
If you have any trouble correcting the DNF books that are showing up in your read books email us at support@thestorygraph.com and if you have any more questions on this you can ask me here!
Nadia But could they be included as the idea suggests? I like the idea of a toggle, which means people could pick their preference. I like seeing what I attempted in a year and reached an end state, read or DNF, mainly because it shows all the things I had a go at. I still read it, even if it annoyed me enough not to see it to the end.
xvicesx I think we need a separate post for this since this one is worded thinking DNFs already count! I do see us having a preference toggle for this one day.
