I recently bought some classics, and wanted to log them as owned, but classics have 1000+ editions, and even searching by isbn and filtering to paperback and language, i still scrolled through 100s before giving up. I wish I could search by publisher

Just adding on to this because I was about to make a similar post - maybe just a general search bar for the editions? So users can search for a year, a publisher, a contributor or any of the data on the editions pages

Okay, so we need a search by publisher and contributors too, right?

Nadia That would be awesome!! I was thinking maybe year of publication as well, but with both of those as options, maybe year isn't necessary.

jaina8851 Hmm. Probably a good idea. Maybe that's a filter option!

+1000 on this. The way classics or ancient texts have every edition ever made or translated in one unordered list is so cumbersome. I read a new translation of Ovid's Metamorphoses last year and wanted to change the format from paperback to digital and it took so much time to scroll through the list to find the one I was looking for because I couldn't search for the translation author's name.
