Enter pause date data retrospectively

I have books I have paused reading but was not able to mark as "paused" here before the function was available. Now, it looks like the only way to add the pause is to first move it to "currently reading", then add the pause, and then delete the "currently reading" journal entry you made just a couple minutes ago. It would be great to add pause start and end dates in a much easier way even after a read is finished (and of course while still reading) if possible.

I'd love any way to do this that does not involve marking the book "Currently Reading" and "Read" again. I'm going back and adding pauses to all the books that needed them so that my "Longest time to read" stat in my wrap-up is correct... but now I'm polluting my Community Feed with false starts and stops, with no way to delete them.

(Also though thanks OP for explaining how to do this so succinctly, I thought I was going to have to delete and re-enter ALL the journal entries after where the pause should be and I am SO relieved that it's actually much simpler than that!!!)
