External links/Bio in profile

I'm pretty sure I've heard that there is thought about adding external links to our profile page, like rather than having social capabilities on tSG, we can link to twitter, instagram, a blog or even email for others to contact us if they choose and if we feel comfortable. I just didn't see it on the roadmap and wanted to put my vote for it.
I like this limited customization because then we can still connect, but tSG doesn't have to moderate activity, and the site doesn't become cluttered.

Emily That was a Firefox bug, which has since been fixed.
Really would like to see this in 2025.
lory_enterenchanted Yeah, it will be coming this year.
I'd love to see this become a priority in 2025! I get why TSG doesn't want to be the place where people are connecting, but giving us ways to connect offsite would be hugely helpful.
srah We've always wanted to do this. It would have been great to get there for 2024, but we didn't, so will be coming this year.
Adding a comment on this to keep it alive :-). Since StoryGraph is intentionally NOT a social site, I can see why we're not doing messages / notifications etc. But I'd love to find my fellow readers and sometimes ask questions, or learn more about them, etc.
patlo This won't go anywhere! But we will have comments between friends and push notifications.
Great point, this is indeed something we plan to do but isn't on here yet! Glad you like the idea. :-)
