Feature polls in app in addition to your social media

I love how we can go on polls on social media for new features, but can we add a poll option to the app or in the roadmap and not just on social media? There are times that I miss a chance to participate in the polls when the stories expire.

i agree with this, and would like to add that for those of us who don't use social media, it can be rough hearing about all this interactivity and polling about product design and features that can't be accessed through the actual product that we subscribe to. things like the official response to concerns about AI use being delivered through a TikTok video is very frustrating.
galaheadh It's just me and Rob doing everything and we're trying to offer variety across a range of platforms. We're also making the most of what features we already have on different platforms — e.g. polls on Instagram, TikTok video — while still taking into account feedback on all channels. We're also mindful of what we're sharing where and how much weight certain results have in our decision-making. It's not like: "You have to be on Instagram to have a say on this product decision" similar to how it's not like: "You have to be on Plus to be able to make official feature requests." (Even though people often think that's the case becaue of the existence of this roadmap.) We also know that we have a lot of knowledge to build into the app, e.g. an FAQ-style section on our use of AI.
Nadia thank you for this reply - i do know your team is tiny, but because the product is so good i think it sometimes slips my mind for things like this. with the AI video, it's mostly disappointing that i shared the concerns about AI addressed in it, but it was only by a very roundabout way i ever heard about Rob's response, well after the fact. i subscribe to the email newsletter and had (perhaps wrongly) assumed that between that and the website, i'd be in the loop for those sorts of communications. so that's where i'm coming from, but i understand and appreciate the response and the situation you're in :)
galaheadh Thank you for your response. I do see how it looks like an 'official' response, but to us it's unofficial, or perhaps more 'informal'. To me, it'll be official when we have a proper FAQ/guide in the app/on the website, that'll probably be announced in an email when it goes live, etc. But because of my product backlog, those kind of things get deprioritised, especially because we can then just link to social media posts when asked about things. It is indeed a tradeoff of the team being so tiny. I appreciate your concerns and frustrations and I know that ultimately if our users didn't care and love the product then they wouldn't have these feelings in the first place. And I appreciate your patience and understanding!
