Generated book cover artwork montage images

On my Profile page I can see images of the books I’m currently reading and have read recently. Is there a means of leveraging this to produce artwork that summarises things like: everything I read in [August], * ratings for my recent reads, sets of books by tag, etc?

I’d like a little montage artwork that I can slap onto my Twitter to graphically summarise some search criteria, reading list or reading challenge, using book cover artwork in a grid or block of some kind. At the moment I get the book art and book details in a scrollable list when I’d just like a grid of artwork without any accompanying text.

Lovely idea! We'll definitely have a cover view for various lists and more shareable content/infographics coming up!

Nadia Great to hear. It'd be nice to have for the end of year, to be able to showcase all the books one read during the year in a single image of all the covers. AFAICS there's no way to do that right now?

strickvl Hello! Yes, there's no way to do that in a single image, though we do display a collage of cover images. Perhaps that's one thing we can look into adding for the 2023 wrap-up.

Nadia Where can I find that collage of cover images?

strickvl Head to the bottom of your 2021 stats page and click the links to generate your 2021 wrap-up! Your collage of covers will be at the bottom of the wrap-up once it's generated. Let me know what you think! :-D

Nadia Oh that's more or less good enough :) I can just clip and edit that so it's in the right proportion (zoom out, copy chunks of the image and then stitch them back together in landscape format). Would be nice if storygraph did it for me, but tbh I have 93% of what I need already so maybe don't kill yourself trying to implement this :)

Thank you for pointing it out!

strickvl Glad to hear that! We want to make a bunch of things in the app more easily shareable so we'll definitely have what you need at some point, whether by the time of the upcoming wrap-up or afterwards.
