Graph for reading history/pages read over time for specific books
S
sydboll

A graph for each book that shows updates, pages read, etc over the time that I have been reading the book.

For exaple, I'd been reading The Brothers Karamazov since 2020 (and still not finished) but would like a graph that shows my progress with the book over time and when i read the most pages, etc.

Yes please! This was one of my favorite features on GR before it broke!

Seconding this a year later! I also have books that take a while to finish and I'd love to be able to see if it's because I left them aside for long periods or if I regularly read small amounts

Adding to this: It would also be handy if you can put the book back on your TBR, but still have your Reading journal intact, so if you go back, you can see when you read what and when you started it again. Same for DNFing books

a_robin_reads Your reading journal entries aren't deleted if you move the book between reading states.

Nadia No, they won't get deleted, but I can't access my reading journal when it is on TBR. So I can't see certain things. It would be nice if the Reading Journal was just open regardless of if your reading it or not

a_robin_reads Ahh, of course! Understood. We'll be making it easier to get to your reading journal for any book, regardless of read status. We've already made progress with this for DNFs.

I would also really like this! Loved it on GR years ago and was really disappointed when they removed it. Would be nice to see if, for example, I kept reading a book consistently, put it away for a period of time or read more pages a day towards the end of a book.
