Graphs for books marked "owned"

I love the graphs and stats for books I've read. Would it be possible to have similar views for books marked as "owned" and/or TBR? I tend to gravitate to the same genres, I think. And the visibility would help remind me to diversify!

Is this on the app as I can't see it anywhere and I have multiple books listed as owned
ttwyman Head to your Owned Books page, via your profile, and then there's a pie chart icon to the right of the page title! :-D
Nadia ooh thank you, was looking at the regular stats page
ttwyman It'll eventually be there too, but just doing a few other changes first!
Nadia OK great, I've been loving the updates and already love all the stats that are available
Nadia thank you!! Did not know there was a graph
Nadia I looooooove it!!! The colours in the read/unread chart are gorgeous! I look forward to catalog every book I own and see the charts! So excited, thank you sooooo much!!
Including a pie chart of owned read/unread! :-D
Nadia Can't wait for this one! I have a long term goal to add all my home library into StoryGraph - which is going to take a long while given that there's many old books - so to then be able to see all the stats about it, it's amazing! Do you guys have any idea, long term, to develop any features related with owned books, which may add value to those who want to inventory their libraries on StoryGraph?
laraneves Great to hear! Yes, I we'll definitely have more 'owned books' specific features in the future. If you have any specific dreams, check that they're not posted on the roadmap already and then add a post for it. :-D
Nadia Hi, I love the new graphs but I have quite a few books that I own that aren't in my read or to read lists (either reference books or ebooks that I have but aren't in my TBR). Currently they all show up as "unread" in the graph but I'd rather they're just excluded and the graph only shows books I've actually marked as read/unread.
I've also noticed that when I have multiple editions of a book (eg. when I've read a digital one but own the physical one), the tags & read status don't show on every edition. I know there's the community polls about the graph but will this be sorted in the lists too?
steffy Hello! Regarding the books you own that you have no intention of reading they'll likely stay as 'unread' for a while. Not everybody puts all of the books they own onto their TBR straight away. In the future, I imagine we might have some way of configuring how you want the chart to work, but that's not a priority right now, I'm afraid.
Regarding your second point, that's something that we've been discussing with the community on and off for months. You can see some of the discussion here: https://roadmap.thestorygraph.com/bugs/posts/status-in-multiple-editions-not-shown — There's no consensus in the community but it'll be addressed somehow. We're not sure yet. You can discuss any ideas on the other linked roadmap post!
This would be great! I am trying to manage my library (too many books, too little space) and graphs about it would be so so helpful, especially in deciding what gets to stay and what gets to be added.
Totally agree! I'm trying to read more owned books this year and would love to have metrics to see how I'm doing throughout the year.
I second this. Would love a way to see stats on my “owned” books/library! I buy wayyy too many books and don’t read them, so I’d love to see general stats about my owned books (genre, author, etc.) but would also like to see avg reviews I give to my owned books and what percentage of my owned library that I’ve actually read.
Hello! Your TBR books already have stats (Profile > Stats > All Time > Your TBR stats will appear side by side with your all time read), but we don't yet have Owned stats. Thanks for the suggestion! :-)
Abbie This is really neat! I had no clue that was there. I love it!
Abbie I think I'm doing something wrong, because I can't find this view. Has it changed? (I'm on the app. I also went to "display in desktop mode" on my mobile)
