I would really like the ability to hide some books from other users on Storygraph
There are certain books I'd rather not show up for some people in my life. Yet, I want to include them on Storygraph because I still want to track my reading and I want recommendations based on them.
So my solution has been to just not tell people I'm on Storygraph or recommend it to them, which is unfortunate.
In addition to the current permissions on the To Read, Owned, Read, and Currently reading lists, I'd like to be able to hide certain books from other users based on an assigned tag in these lists .
That said there are some people that I'm fine seeing an unrestricted view of my reading. So I'd like the option to mark them as a "Close Friend" so that the tag rule doesn't apply to them.

Nadia I guess so…and now that I really think about it. I think I’d want a bit of flexibility in that optional sharing. So when you add a friend it would be nice to be able to say yes I want to share private reads, but still don’t show books with certain tags.
Or maybe have an option to not show the book even if you choose to share private reads with someone. Basically the book would be hidden no matter what.
