Humour/Comedy as a genre

I saerched for these keywords before posting, I hope this is not a duplicate entry. Would a humour/comedy be possible/feasible? Given the specificity of the genre options already available, the omission of this genre seems a bit surprising. The ill-yclept Amazon-owned Storygraph wannabe DOES offer this genre, I note.

So, I've been a member for just over 4 years, and this request is nearly 3 years old. As a LARGE part of my reading fits this genre that TSG continues to deny the existence of, I hope I won't have to wait another 4 years.
This is on our list of genres to include when we do a genre review. It's been our most requested genre to add over the last couple of years. Because of the way the product is set up, including with all of our machine learning, it's not easy to just add a genre, but the suggestion has been noted!
Clearly my seach fu is fu bar, since I didn't find any of those other requests, sorry.
