Input books by ASIN

Right now users can input new editions by looking up the ISBN. I know this may be complicated, but is it possible to adapt the search engine so that it can find editions using ASIN? This would be especially useful when importing audiobooks given it’s extremely difficult to find the ISBN

I would really like this option too. It's frustrating that we're in a situation where a single company uses it's own system rather than an international standard, and I'm not the biggest fan of Amazon, but it is frustrating trying to find editions that only have an ASIN, and especially independently published books.
There's also a second suggestion for the same thing: https://roadmap.thestorygraph.com/requests-ideas/posts/asin-independent-publisher
YES! I want this capability too. I've stopped using Storygraph and going back to Good reads because the inability add my kindle books correctly makes this not usable.
I've had this trouble lately with ebooks as well. With the new pie chart that breaks down books by format, I've been trying to make sure I get the format right, and tracking down digital books by ISBN is also very difficult. A few times I thought I found an ISBN for a digital book and it pops up an edition labeled as paperback.
