List of books I've read that can be sorted

I'm finding it difficult (impossible) to view a list of just the books I've finished reading and be able to sort them in various ways, especially from most recently read to most recently read. Maybe I'm missing something, but, if not, would love to have it please!

If you head to your profile page, and then click "View all" in the Read Recently section, you'll find the list of books you've read and be able to sort, search, and filter them, change which date range you're looking at, and access any DNF books.

Once you get here, can you let me know which part of the journey to this page wasn't clear? It'll help us to improve the UX of the product. Thank you!

Thanks, Nadia. That's great! Good to find it.

  1. The difficulty I had was that I have never used an app or website that I've needed to go to to find information about the core content of the app or site. It's usually for things to do with name, settings, account, etc. So I never thought to go there for this.
  2. I've provided a screenshot attached that clarifies what I found difficult on the Mac app.

The solution might be to have a section on the home page, under the To Read Pile, called something like Reading History or Already Read. That would make a lot more sense to me (others might disagree, of course!) 😃

Cheers
Steve

I figured this was your pain point!

This is something I need to fix as discussed in this roadmap post: https://roadmap.thestorygraph.com/admin/ideas/requests-ideas/posts/change-threshold-for-vertical-resolutions

We aggressively switch to a mobile layout on certain screens for the top navbar, and then you don't get the bottom mobile icons, which can be seen in the screenshots I'm attaching. On bigger desktop screens, you've got the profile picture to click on. Again, screenshot attached.

Whatever the solution, part of the current UX improvements will be to fix this!
