Manually set end page in currently reading

I'd love to be able to enter a custom end page in the currently reading section.
Many times books will have an afterword or other content unrelated to the story that I may just want to skip. However, hitting marked as finished makes it seem as if I had read all those pages when looking at my stats.

I know you guys have a lot to do especially with the new year coming and all the people join the platform on January 1. However, can this option to set the start and end page numbers be moved up in priority? This feature would make it so much easier to accurately truck the number of pages read and have a more accurate idea of your progress when reading a book. For example, I’m currently reading a book that has nearly 55 back and/bonus pages, which means I’m really 4% further along in the book then the Kindle app indicates, and I would love to be able to see that On my StoryGraph. Thank you guys for everything you do with this incredible app.

ebbookworm I'm sorry. This won't be moved up in priority now — I haven't even reviewed if it's something we're going to offer  — and certainly won't be out this year. Thank you for your continued support and patience!

Can this feature be moved up on the timeline? It is quite frustrating. Do you have the manually change the sitting and finished page numbers/minutes on the finished journal entry of a digital or audiobook. This is especially for his training when it comes to calculating the Correct Minutes in the last sitting and in total when audiobook apps show reading progress in hours and minutes rather than only in minutes. Can users also have the option to set the start page because sometimes, especially with Kindle, the front matter is counted in the page count. For example, I’m reading a book right now that has the first page marked as page 5.

I just posted a similar feature request: [User option to customize number of pages or duration] (https://roadmap.thestorygraph.com/requests-ideas/posts/user-option-to-customize-number-of-pages-or-duration)

What you might be able to do for now is edit the final auto-generated entry, reducing "pages read" and "pages read total" down by what you want your final end page to be.
