Being able to format text using some basic markdown. I'd particularly want to be able to add links, footnotes, a horizontal line (with '---'), and markdown implementation of existing formatting options (bold, italics, lists, strikethrough, etc.)

Please! Hopefully it wouldn't be too hard to implement, and I literally paid for Plus so I could suggest this feature.
