They're not going to ever 100% influence the tags — because they are a different data point (TSG ML generated vs "What the community thinks") — but we will be doing something about this.

The moods and pace don't update automatically, but if you find one where they're obviously incorrect, you can report it using the "Report missing/incorrect information" button and it will be updated.

(I don't have specific knowledge of why they don't update automatically, but considering the number of books in the dataset I suspect that checking them all constantly would require a massive amount of processing power that would be needed more urgently elsewhere.)

Yes! I have seen books labeled as “fast paced” for example and most/all of the reviews say it is “medium paced” or whatever
