I’d like the ability to use themes/moods/genres/book format that are already stored on the books in custom charts instead of having to use only custom tags.
I.e. I’d like to compare the Young Adult Genre with my ‘Not YA’ custom tag
And a pie chart of paperback vs hardback books etc

There are a lot more features coming to custom charts (we're only on V1 right now) and we'll make more use of the book data we already have. However, you can already compare the YA Genre with 'Not YA'. Head to the Stats page, then "Compare Stats" and use the dropdowns to get those two segments. "Format" isn't a segment yet, but you can see the difference in average rating between those formats if you click on the "Ratings per book type" link under the star ratings chart.
