For book-specific reading challenge prompts, a participant may have already read a book at some point in the past and may prefer only to tackle books on the list that they may not have read—there should be a way for old reads to ‘count’ if they want.

Current reading challenge rules only allow either open-ended start/end dates or a specific start/end date. But even for challenges that end on, say, December 31 of a given year, if it’s a book-specific list, a participant may want to include old reads too. Please make it possible for challenges with a specific end date to have an open-ended start too.
