More social aspects | Requests/Ideas

I love story graph already as it is but I also like comparing and seeing all my friends books BUT they won't switch over from GR because they like the social aspect more, I think it would be awesome to have story graph be the biggest and best out there so I'm hoping for more social aspects so everyone will also be enticed to switch over. Specific things like recommendations to each together, having a full bio/profile, being able to make book related posts that aren't just the books you're reading, etc)
also please feel free to delete this if it's already been said im mostly just requested on behalf of my friends :3

couldn't agree more! the social aspect of GR is the only reason I still keep it... I have both GR and SG now, but I love SG so much more!! if only it had more social aspects, I'd definitely ditch the other one completely..! i'd love: sharing your graphs or wrap ups on the community so other could see it; not only liking, but also commenting on others posts, for instance to ask for opinions on why they gave x or y starts to such book, etc etc. I love storygraph and I started it just for myself, but sometimes it feels a bit isolating.

Hello! We definitely want to improve the social aspect without going too far off the deep end into social media territory. We're planning on making it easier to find and invite your friends from other platforms, and invite-only book groups will soon be a thing too! Within these, you'll be able to host discussions with friends you've invited. We'll also have an improved bio, where you'll be able to share links to your other social platforms.
